modern clothing

 Hey Angels!

I want to talk about modern clothing now, its so uninspiring and boring. Clothes used to be full of colour and joy, even 10 years ago. I walk into any store in the shopping centre, the piece of clothing is either in lots of colour but a basic shape, or a fun cut but in the default 3 colours of black, pink and grey. 

Also whenever I walk down the street I don't want to see every other girl wearing the same top as me. That sounds like I want to be different but I just want unique clothes that I won't ever see anyone else wear. Colour is so important to me too. If I wear something colourful I'm way more likely to feel confident and bubbly, and cute! Send me back pleaseee.

 Hey Angels!!

I feel that bags are key to an outfit and I REALLY need that key. They have locked me out. But bags are so expensive, why are they so expensive. I am looking out at the op shop (thrift store for americans) all the time but there is never anything good. 

anyway here are my dream bags:

Leather colour bags are my obsession currently and add so much to an outfit. You can genuinely wear the most basic, t-shirt and jeans or sweatpants and hoodies with this bag and it looks so cool and fashionable.

 Hey Angels!!

I was browsing pinterest and realised there are so so so many shoes I want to buy. Is it criminal to want to be a cool, stylish girl? But there is one problem - I don't have any money. So instead I'm going to write and daydream. With no further ado here is my dream shoe rotation...

Now with these ones I think are so cute but I just don't know if they are my complete style, nevertheless they are featured in my dream shoe collection because they are so cute!! They are a cute way to wear uggs outside of the house without being worried about them getting dirty or broken!!

Thought I might talk about something I'd been curious about.

The union jack flag is every where, used on clothing and accessories, but why? 

It started in the 1960s, as London was the global capital of youth culture, pop music, and style, with bands like the Beatles, the Rolling Stones and the Who. Mini dresses were worn by style icons like Mary Quant and Twiggy, this style appealing to mod subculture.

About Me!

 Hey angels!

There are many reasons someone may start a blog but I thought I might talk about mine, to add more depth into what I write!

But first, a little about me: 

My name is Anouk, and I'm a teenager in high school. I live in Australia, but I would love to travel the world even if every place I want to visit is 10 hrs minimum away :(. I have been to France, Portugal, Singapore, Japan, and New Zealand. If I could go anywhere I would love to travel to Italy and Greece and live out my European summer Mumma Mia dreams.

I love creative activity like knitting, crocheting, journaling, sewing, beading, literally anything creative and I will try it. I really want to start binding classics, or really any book because I love to create!

I also love music, indie, alt, 90s, rock, and right now I have been really loving James Marriott, it just makes me feel so happy. Some other bands/singers I love are Nirvana, The Cure, Radiohead, The Smiths, and Belle and Sebastian.

Now about why I want to start this blog, my dream job is a journalist and I thought what better way to try and achieve this, then to start a blog of my own.

I love Lois Lane and she started this journey into journalism for me. I would love to be in magazines and newspapers, and write about fashion, media, or politics.

I love educating myself in my free time as well, abusing my library books and am currently teaching myself about fashion and the history of fashion.
